Have you ever wondered what the wonderful world and characters of Game of Thrones would look like if reimagined by Walt Disney studios? I mean, they would have to do a real adaptation for it to be accepted by Disney and its audience, but that’s not the point. Dornish men and women, Northerners and Southerners, Wildings, wights, dragons… How would they look in the cartoonish, perfect world of Disney? Don’t worry, my sweet summer child – artists Fernando Mendonça and Anderson Mahanski not only answered that question, they also transported us into the world of Westeros in the most innocent, fun, and beautiful way imaginable. Below you’ll find their artwork as well as that of other artists, so prepare your happy, innocent self to see amazing new Disney characters that we’ll probably never see on the big screen or Walt Disney World.
Melisandre & Her Shadows (Ridiculous).
Here we see the beautiful Melisandre (who reminds me of Megara in Hercules) walking with her shadow baby, who had killed Renly Baratheon on the fateful night she gave birth to the demon. Totally inappropriate for Disney, but you can’t deny that he would make a great villain in their universe.
Oberyn & Mt

This scene could seem like a silly game of “guess who’s behind you,” but we all know better.
Jon Snow & Ghost

A truly innocent moment between Jon Snow and his pet direwolf. One can only imagine what adventures they will experience. Also, poor squirrel.
God Varies

Our favorite Spider and Spymaster (fuck you, Littlefinger) is looking for something as he listens to one of his little birds. I wonder if they’ve been lying to him since Cersei took over and cleaned house in King’s Landing…
Dog & Arya Stark

I could see this as a poster for the movie “F*ck the King – The Adventures of A Girl and The Hound”. Coming to an end in 2018, the rating is R for mature language, gory images and lewd content. Actually I’m sad, it’s not a real thing.
Jaime Lannister & Brienne Of Tarth

A tale as old as time… Beauty and the Beast. Even though Brienne is beautiful and very muscular, calling her a Beast seems unfair. But let’s be honest, the early version of Jaime was perfect as a diva. Maybe he should just be portrayed as Gaston?
Cersei Lannister

Cersei would be the perfect Disney villain. Beautiful, intelligent, and brave, she puts most of the evil witches and queens to shame with her evil plans and dirty work.
Tyrion Lannister

Hi ho, hi ho, I’m off to drink some wine. I leave. He will be a Disney character that all kids will love – funny, a little pesky, smart and cute. As long as they don’t include his sex addiction from previous seasons, he’s worthy of Disney.
Hodor & Bran Stark

Here we find out what should happen with both. Hodor and his happy-go-lucky spirit and attitude, and Bran Stark as a curious and innocent child. Rest in peace, sweet giant.
Night King (Frozen).

Let it go, let it go… The Night King looks a lot like Elsa in this picture. But luckily he didn’t smile on the show, it was a little scary.
Daenerys, Drogon, Jon, & Ghost

This wasn’t drawn by Fernando Mendonca, Anderson Mahanski, or Sam Tsui, but it’s a great illustration nonetheless. I really wonder who the little dragon is, and why Dany is staring at Jon.
Daenerys & Drogon

Very much like Jasmine and Rajah, this illustration makes me want a Disney Daenerys movie now. From her expressions to the details of her outfit – everything works. But Drogon had eaten too much lamb.
Daenerys & Her 3 Dragons

Viserion, Rheagal, and Drogon remind us of the dragons that the evil witch Milicent turned into in Sleeping Beauty. Daeneys also channels her inner Elsa in this image, and this could make for a more serious Disney film.
