Swedish developer 10 Chambersfamous with famous Payday series and GTFOgives players an unfiltered look at the journey of creating the upcoming ambitious co-op heist game, Wolf’s Lair. Launching soon, that is docu-reality series Play the Game is a true story of game development that reveals the struggles, triumphs, and realities behind bringing a massive cyberpunk project to life.
Play the Game capturing the 10 Chambers team at critical points throughout their development. Rather than a slow, conventional industrial documentary, series creator and Oscar studio co-founder JT Holm describes it as a “brutally honest” film, highlighting the human struggles and triumphs embedded in the creation of AAA games.
From initial concepts to ambitious live events, such as the spectacular 1,000-drone show following The Game Awards 2024, the series highlights groundbreaking moments of creativity as well as considerable setbacks. Holm said, “Growing a company while building a game can be very stressful and cause tension even between old friends.”
When setting out to capture intimate images of their journey, 10 Chambers made a conscious decision not to hold back—to let the camera roll, even when it was uncomfortable.
For studio founder and creative director Ulf Andersson, Wolf’s Lair has been a passionate project in the making for over a decade.
“I hated making this documentary,” he said.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
