After learning of their predicament, the pair kept it a secret from Lauren, agreeing to let her make the final decision. Unfortunately, when their plans are revealed, a dangerous figure from a previous CIA operation returns for revenge. Complete with tense action scenes, a hilarious plot about relationships, and some very talented actors, This Means War is the perfect popcorn movie for date night.

Be Smart is a wacky comedy and parody of the spy film genre, based on the classic 1960s television show by Mel Brooks. Directed by Peter Segal, the film follows an awkward spy named Maxwell Smart (Steve Carell) who is forced to do field work when his agency is attacked by a terrorist cell. When most of the other spies are exposed, Maxwell must learn from Agent 99 (Anne Hathaway), a fierce female infiltrator and one of the best on the force. When novices and experts team up for a classic espionage-filled adventure, hilarity ensues, usually to Max’s fault. With a positive redemption theme, great chemistry between the cast, and some great moments of humor, Be Smart is a hilarious spy movie that will make you and your date laugh.

What Happens in Vegas is a charming romantic comedy directed by Tom Vaughan that follows Joy (Cameron Diaz) and Jack (Ashton Kutcher), two strangers who end up getting married after a drunken night in Las Vegas. However, after Jack wins $3 million on a slot machine, their plans for a divorce quickly go down the drain. Forced by a judge to live together for six months, Joy and Jack must work together or lose their million dollar jackpot. As would be expected from an impulsive couple, the time is full of pranks, schemes, and the emergence of surprising interests. When Lucy forgets to see Henry day after day, she vows to always be memorable, resulting in dozens of “first dates.” As is common in comedy films starring Adam Sandler, 50 First Dates offers some very funny moments, excelling with its interesting premise. Watching Henry attempt to woo Lucy despite the charming circumstances, leads to a charming romance. Plus, what better movie to watch on date night than a movie about dating?

Terminal is a fantastic drama/comedy created by acclaimed director Stephen Spielberg and starring Tom Hanks as Viktor, a European man who is forced to stay in an airport terminal due to an unfortunate incident. After arriving in New York and discovering his passport is invalid, Viktor is denied entry into the United States, but is unable to return to his home country due to the recent military coup. As Viktor spends months in the airport terminal, he begins to form new relationships with employees and travelers, including a flight attendant named Amelia (Catherine Zeta-Jones). Surprisingly, the plot is loosely based on a true story, making the events even more extraordinary. Through and through, Terminal is an emotional drama that’s a great choice for date night and a great story you won’t soon forget.
