Note: This review will contain spoilers Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Is ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ the Best Marvel Film?
Spider-Man: No Way Home took several weeks after the incident Spider-Man: Far From Homewith Spider-Man’s identity as Peter Parker (Tom Holland) revealed to the world. Thrust into the spotlight and stripped of his anonymity, Peter and his closest friends begin to suffer the consequences of befriending a controversial vigilante. With his girlfriend MJ (Zendaya) and best friend Ned (Jacob Batalon) struggling to get accepted into college because of their friendship with him, Peter contacts his old friend Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to cast a memory erasing spell on the entire planet. Unfortunately, things went awry, sucking the villain and other versions of Spider-Man from the multiverse into Peter’s world. When New York City is plunged into chaos and the multiverse is in danger, Peter must defeat villains such as the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Doctor Otto Octavious (Alfred Molina), and many more to save the situation.
If you see this icon Spider man villains aren’t worth getting excited about, No Way Home bringing back the “classic” Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire) and The Amazing Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) to help the fight. Watching three generations of Spider-Men swing and fight together offers a bonanza of fan service in a film already full of it. We also get a great fight scene between Peter and Doctor Strange in the psychedelic Mirror Dimension, as well as lots of easter eggs and references. Best of all, No Way Home refuses to let fan service overwhelm the core narrative, closing out the reboot trilogy while still leaving room for future sequels. Finally, Spider-Man: No Way Home isn’t the best MCU film, but it’s definitely at the top of the list. It’s a much-missed action blockbuster in cinema, full of adventure, excitement, and moments of surprising emotion. Overall, the film achieved its goal, ending the reboot trilogy with a meaningful film made for the fans.
How ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Changed the MCU Forever
While most of the stories in No Way Home tightly contained in the world Spider manthere are several plot points that may change the entire MCU going forward. First and foremost is the inclusion of the multiverse, which was introduced in the Marvel event Lokibecome the center of attention No Way Home. The way the multiverse is used in this film is just a small part of the crazy concepts it makes possible, featuring alternate versions of characters from different universes and timelines. By the way, No Way Home including a cameo by Netflix’s Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox) hero Daredevil show. Now that the universes are one and the same, what does that mean for Marvel’s other Netflix shows? Should we expect Luke Cage and Jessica Jones to appear in the next big crossover film? Only time will tell.
Most importantly, the end of No Way Home acts as a major reset for the character. Ironically, the only way to prevent the collapse of the multiverse was to complete Doctor Strange’s original spell, which effectively stripped Peter Parker of the memories of everyone he loved. Completely alone, Peter moves to another part of town and begins a new chapter as Spider-Man. With no further connections to the Avengers, Nick Fury, or the superhero ensemble, how will Spider-Man figure in future MCU films? If the end-credits scene is to be believed, I’m sure Venom (Tom Hardy) had something to do with it.
Overall, an event Spider-Man: No Way Home will have a significant impact on the future of the MCU, even if it seems minor at the moment. We will have to wait until the next release Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness to see what happens next. For now, all we can do is speculate, discuss, and be grateful Spider-Man: No Way Home meet expectations.
